- A native of Paris, Ludo first began creating his distinctive street images in the city in 2006. With an obvious interest in environmental issues, the artist intended to spark debate amongst Parisians with his unique nature/technology hybrids that he labels 'Nature's Revenge', questioning with his striking imagery the relationship between humans and the world in which we live. More recently his work has appeared across the Atlantic, particularly in Los Angeles, Chicago and New York, and in 2011 Ludo was commissioned to carry out his first 'official' mural in his native city by the town hall of the 11th Arrondissement.
"It's about putting something in front of someone. Making nature really common, making you ask; who cares about nature? Who cares about the flower? I know its stupid to say that, but I like making things really big, violent and sort of rough. A mix of nature and domestic things, making people think."
